Safe-T-bar
All Hope safe T-bar product options use high tensile cold-formed alloy steel. Our exclusive heavy grit anti-slip tread finish, exceeds the Health & Safety Pendulum HSE BS7976 pendulum slip test helping to protect worker safety while loading and unloading the interior or roof of a van.
The highly reflective red conspicuity strip provides improved visibility of the van during the day, night and in poor lighting conditions.
All safe-T-bar options are available with or without aftermarket reverse parking sensors or with Sensor Connect, which allows the vehicle’s existing OEM parking sensors to be seamlessly integrated into a HOPE bar, via a simple plug-and-play solution. Compatible with the majority of leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles.

Straight Protection

Recess Step
The safe-T-bar Recess step provides industry leading protection from damage and the appearance and value of your van.
The reduced step height in the centre of the step further aids safe loading and unloading also giving better roof rack access and helps reduce the risk of slips, trips, and falls.
Safe-T-Bar Towing
Provides maximum protection with towing. All HOPE towing products are Type Approved to EC 94/20 Reg 58 and undergo a 2 million cycle fatigue test and VCA Approved.
We offer a wide range of commercial vehicle Tow bars compatible with most leading manufacturers light commercial vehicles. All HOPE products designed for towing are, manufactured in house, Type approved to EC94/20 or Regulation 55, and undergo a 2 million cycle fatigue test. VCA Approved.
All tow bars feature a 5-stage pre-treatment powder coating finish for maximum durability. Our technical support team will be more than happy to provide guidance on the towbar for your vehicle.

The unique Safe-T-Bar is constructed using high tensile cold-formed alloy steel and positioned perfectly to protect the rear of your vehicle from day-to-day knocks and fork lift loading. In addition to utilising the highest quality materials, the Safe-T-Bar provides a safe, anti-slip step when loading and unloading.
The Safe-T-Bar has been designed to fit most leading makes and models of van, and our products are the preferred vehicle safety and access device for all types of light commercial and heavy goods vehicles. To ensure you can find a Safe-T-Bar to suit your exact specifications our range includes non-towing options, full width step protection, recess step and options with towing facilities. All Safe-T-Bars with towing facilities are compliant with Type Approval UN ECE Reg 55.
As an option for non-towing Safe-T-Bars, our reliable four sensor reversing systems with audible and visual warning can be added to help with reversing and parking manoeuvres to further minimise the risk of accidents.
The Hope Safe-T-Bar protects more than just your vehicle, it protects your drivers too. This market leading product provides a specially formulated, safe, non-slip step that helps to protect workers ensuring optimum safety when loading and unloading the interior or roof of a van, and prevent accident claims. The front recess of the bar is also fitted with a highly noticeable red reflective strip offering improved visibility during the day, night and in poor lighting conditions, and helping to prevent wear and tear.
